Barnet Multi-Faith Forum together with The Faith Based Regeneration Network invite you to an evening event as part of National Inter-faith Week, in the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Barnet and other dignitaries.
Building on the work of the Face to Face and Side by Side initiative the Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby will host a one day Inter Faith Conference as part of the start to the National Inter Faith Week 2009, supported by the Department for Communities and Local Governent and the Inter Faith Network UK.
The main aims of the Inter-Faith Forum are to promote understanding between different faith traditions and to educate the people of Northern Ireland in the awareness that Northern Ireland is not a country of two traditions only, but a vibrant community of many faiths whose people come from varied religious and ethnic backgrounds.
faithnetsouthwest supports faith groups engaging in social or community activity in the South West region. Working at a strategic level, they help faith groups to be heard regarding the issues that concern them and their communities.
