This Fund offers social entrepreneurs in the North of England (from Derby to the Borders) an opportunity to submit a business idea and receive financial support in the form of an interest-free loan. The idea or business must make a lasting positive social or environmental impact.

European Social Fund Community Grants Programme launches in East Midlands
Small not-for-profit groups in the East Midlands can apply for the first round of the ESF Community Learning & Skills Grants funding programme (2014-2015).
Max value: £10,000
Deadline: First round 21 February 2014 (5pm). Two more rounds will follow later in 2014.
