Timebanking Taster Day.
Dr Natan Levy, Interfaith and Social Action Consultant at The Board of Deputies of British Jews is launching a Timebanking Taster Day, taking place on Sunday 16th February in the Golders Green area, in which 25 teachers have offered to teach a wide variety of practical skills to everyone who wishes to attend.
True to the Timebanking model, the day itself is free, but every hour of class will obligate the participants to fulfil an equal hour of volunteer activity in their local neighbourhood at a later date. They have brought in a volunteer organization, The Jewish Volunteering Network, to coordinate this link-up. For more information, please contact Dr Levy at the Board of Deputies on 0207 543 5400 ext:230
