The interactive day-long programme combines theory, practice and real-life scenarios from the interfaith field, helping you to achieve more from meetings, projects and engagement activities with diverse groups."
'Interfaith and Intercultural Facilitation' training is based on our award-winning techniques. The activities are designed to enhance the intercultural skills and confidence of community professionals and volunteers with experience of basic facilitation.
Participants will learn how to:
- Create and maintain safe space in which group processes can flourish
- Build group identity and investment
- Design interfaith/intercultural activities for different purposes
- Encourage positive contributions and challenge unhelpful behaviour
- Cultivate deeper, more challenging conversations
- Respond effectively to controversial moments, and use them as learning opportunities
- Reflect and help participants learn from group experiences
